Running a business isn't generally rocket science (unless you are a scientist specialising is rockets...), but having common sense makes it a lot easier!

Many of the decisions you make at home can be applied to business, in as much as the thought process and practicality of action.  It is easy to make things complicated or take the long route to a destination.  The old acromym KISS - 'Keep It Simple, Stupid' is often forgotten and can always be applied, as well as 'If it sound to good to be true, it probably is'.  I could go on!

However, it is very easy to get immersed into what you are doing, overcomplicating things or not seeing the wood for the trees (sorry, I didn't want to keep throwing those saying is!).
